There are different varieties of forms the main character, Ichigo, uses in the Bleach anime. I will be showing you all of his forms and they are used in battle. Ichigo's main form is his shinigami form. This is the form every soul reaper uses at the starting of the battle. Ichigo can use an amount of his spritual energy to release a deadly wave of his energy. This move is called Getsuga Tenshou, also known as " Moon-Fang Heaven-Pearcing". The second form of a soul reaper is called bankai. Ichigo's bankai makes his Getsuga Tenshou out of black getsuga, an even more powerful version of getsuga. He uses this technique when his opponent is winning in the battle. He can also use his inner hollow to wear the hollow mask, a mask that increases Ichigo's power by a lot.When Ichigo is about to lose a battle, it triggers his inner hollow and transforms him into a full hollow. In this form, he can shoot a powerful beam called a ceno, which arrancars can only use, beings that obtain the power of a soul reaper and hollow. Ichigo used this form to defeat Ulquiorra, the 4th most powerful arrancar.The Final Getsuga Tenshou is the form Ichigo used to defeat Sosuke Aizen. When he uses this technigue, he loses all his soul reaper powers, which was later brought back because of his fullbring.
When Ichigo lost his powers, he teamed up with Xcution, a group of people that have the ability of fullbring, similar to a soul reaper's power. Later, Ichigo discovered the leader of Xcution, Ginjo, was the first ever substitute soul reaper. Ichigo is the second substitute soul reaper, so Ichigo battled Ginjo and defeated Ginjo.
